Track and Understand Your Pokémon TCG Pull Rates
The Parko Cards Pokémon Pull Rate Calculator lets collectors calculate their own observed Pokémon card pull rates using real pack-opening results. Simply enter how many booster packs you opened and the number of hits you pulled from each rarity.
The calculator works with individual booster packs, booster bundles, Elite Trainer Boxes, booster boxes and other sealed Pokémon TCG products. You can also combine results from multiple pack openings to build a larger sample.
How Are Pokémon Pull Odds Calculated?
Pull odds are calculated by comparing the number of packs opened with the number of cards pulled from a particular rarity. For example, if you open 72 booster packs and pull three Special Illustration Rare cards, your observed result is approximately one Special Illustration Rare for every 24 packs opened.
Are Pokémon Pull Rates Guaranteed?
No. A calculated result such as “1 in 24 packs” does not mean every twenty-fourth Pokémon booster pack will contain that rarity. It simply represents the average result from the packs included in your sample.
Smaller pack openings can produce highly variable results. Larger samples generally provide more useful data when comparing the relative frequency of different Pokémon card rarities.
Can I Calculate Booster Box Pull Rates?
Yes. If you opened a Pokémon booster box, enter the total number of packs you opened and each of your hits. The calculator will show your observed odds and also estimate how many similar hits your results would represent across 36 booster packs.
What Counts As A Pokémon Hit?
There is no single definition of a Pokémon “hit”. Many collectors use the term for cards such as Double Rares, Illustration Rares, Ultra Rares, Special Illustration Rares and Hyper Rares. Because Pokémon sets can differ, the calculator also allows you to add your own rarity or card category.
